With even growing
needs of higher product quality and productivity, our
client decides to upgrade the old fashion machinery.
There are about 15 tire machines that used to make green
tire. The strategy is to use the most mechanical components
of the machines, but replace and enhanced the control
system with PLC based equipment.
We choose Allen-Bradley SLC 5/04 system to replace
their old control system.
And we also use Allen-Bradley PanelView 900 to visualize
the process, replace and enhance the old BCD display.
The PanelView communicates over DH+ network to its
associated SLC.
SLC System is used to control:
* Process sequence
* Interlocking
* Tire type data storage
* Timing functions
* High speed counter function
* Control motor inverter and solenoid valve
* Product output counting
PanelView 900 is use to visualize:
* Process settings for different products
* Current step visualisation for operator
* Product output display
* Process parameter display
* Working time display
* Machine and tire type setting
* Total product display
* Maintenance and troubleshooting display
